Bernard is a saxophonist and sound artist whose work explores the collapse of breath and machine into cinematic curiosities. His performances combine extended woodwind techniques with live sampling, modular synthesis, and experimental signal processing to shape layered sonic environments. Equally at home in moments of breath-driven intimacy and walls of swirling texture, Bernard often incorporates bass clarinet, effects augmentation, and unconventional control systems into his sets. Recent projects include The Justins (Biannual Beats, The Justin Egg Arc I), his ongoing Handshakes ATX duo collaborations, and the live quadraphonic recording Three Movements in Quadraphonic Brainspace.
