The improvisatory electro-acoustic duo of Lester S The improvisatory electro-acoustic duo of Lester St. Louis and Chris Williams (HxH) utilizes a mix of trumpet, cello and electronics to build worlds traversing through acoustic sound, grainy textures, expansive pools of sounds, breaks, cuts and beats. The approach is conceived as an expansiveness that holds a personal intimacy.

HxH wants to bring the listeners in, tune them to the experience and take a long trip. HxH functions as a vehicle to bring together the mass of references and influences Chris and Lester share and create ways to crystalize those ideas in real, expanded time to an experience over minutes or hours.

Thanks to Lester St. Louis and Chris Williams for playing at 7pm on 9/27/2025 !

Spirit Plate is the spiritual noise trio of Mateo Spirit Plate is the spiritual noise trio of Mateo Galindo (Atomic Culture co-curator, crieslol, Death Convention Singers) and Nathan Young (Tulsa Noise organizer, formerly of Postcommodity, Ajilvsga, etc.) and Warren Realrider ( TickSuck, Waves of Dust, WRxMG )

Heavily influenced by and grounded in the traditions of spiritual free jazz, noise rock and the most intense moments of indigenous trance music, Spirit Plate utilizes reciprocal feedback loops, custom electronics, prepared guitar and drumming to create ecstatic improvisations that invoke sacred trance and drone traditions, smuggled in the form of rock band aesthetics. As transdisciplinary artists we are concerned with developing strategies toward a decolonial relationship with sound, performance and listening.

Marshall Trammell aka Music Research Strategoes is an experimental archivist, percussionist, conductor, and composer based in Oakland and Albuquerque, United States.

His aesthetics and activism are centred in social change interventions to generate new local and global ecologies that embrace improvisation as a collective, movement-building tool in the creation of post-capitalist imaginaries.

Trammell’s ongoing project Music Research Strategies uses aesthetic theory, data creation, mapping, and collective music- and art-making to step out of the domain of traditional cultural institutions, relocating the act of co-production back in the community.
